Windows hangs at aswrvrt.sys in safemode then restarts

Whenever i keep trying to boot in safe mode it hangs at aswrvrt.sys and then reboots…
This may have been due to my bios update but i’ve updated it to all the bios versions and it doesn’t fix it. I also tried to use default bios settings which didn’t work.
I then was able to run FRST64 in startup repair and can’t seem to attach a file to this post.

Hello,

Go to recovery options again, open CMD and type this:

chkdsk C: /r

Let it finish and then try to boot your PC.

I did this and it finished in like 10 seconds and at the end it said
“Failed to transfer logged messages to the event log with status 50.”

This also didn’t fix it and I am still stuck at aswrvrt.sys in safemode

Download attached fixlist.txt and save it to your USB flashdrive as fixlist.txt

Boot into Recovery Environment

Start FRST in a similar manner to when you ran a scan earlier, but this time when it opens …

[*] Press the Fix button once and wait.
[*] FRST will process fixlist.txt
[*] When finished, it will produce a log fixlog.txt on your USB flashdrive.

Exit out of Recovery Environment and post me the log please.

Try to boot Windows normally…

It still restarts everytime buy now it hangs at classpnp.sys instead in safe mode and then restarts.

Can you now try Chkdsk C: /r command?

So you told me to run that command earlier but it finished very quickly.
The reason was that somehow my main drive was actually D:
so I ran that command but it took like 5 hours which shouldn’t happen.
Also earlier I ran the command but with /f instead which took about half an hour.
After all this the system is still hanging then restarts.
Also before all of this I renamed classpnp.sys to classpnp.old and it hanged at disk.sys

This also happened for aswrvrt.sys before because classpnp.sys was the previous window file loaded.

The last few drivers was like this

Disk.sys
Classpnp.sys
Aswrvrt.sys

Then it hangs and restarts.

Now it hang and restarts at disk.sys
The command didn’t seem to do anything.

So i finally fixed this issue myself.
The issue was that the bios update changed the PCH SATA Control Mode to ACHI or IDE (i forgot).
So it wasn’t due to avast but due to a bios setting changed. But i tried to set it to the default settings and last working settings and it didn’t work.
So now it is finally solved.
