I Installed MSN 8 just a few day’s ago.
And now i wanted to send someone an exe file.
Now is MSN Complaining about no virus scanner.
I Know that Avast does this automaticly, atleast for downloaded files.
Also, MSN Tells me that i have to installe Windows Life Safety.
That is something i rather not do.
I Think the other option is to add some avast program to the MSN options.
But what program/exe file do i need to use. And is this compatible?

Assuming that you installed avast! in the default folder, this is the path needed to scan downloads, C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\ashQuick.exe

I never realy checked for this becouse avast mostly has this build in :).

Normally the MSN / Windows Messenger is included in the Instant Messaging provider so I don’t know why MSN isn’t detecting avast, the Security Center does. I guess that MSN 8 it trying to push MS products ;D Windows Live Safety.

And yea… i thought that life safefty had some extra software connection to AV Software on the computer already. But nope.
