I recently decided to use Windows Movie Maker a bit more, but then I open it Windows Movie Maker starts to slowly distort. Even the timeline starts going haywire! I’ve tried everything, repairing it and reinstalling it, but nothing seems to help. Even in the options menu everything slowly starts to get more blurry and distort. I’m not sure if it is a virus or simply something wrong with my computer.

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask, the avast forum is quite good at identifying virus symptoms and I guess you guys would be able to tell me wether of not you think this a virus or whatnot.
welcome to the forum. i suggest you follow this guide and attach your logs. then a malware expert will guide you from there.
