windows start failure

i’m using dell T5400 with win7 ultimate 64bit, when my system loads it shows window with choice of normal start or startup repair (or something like that) normal start flashes with bluescreen and restarts computer and startup repair does all it’s tests but shows that it can’t fix the problem. When i try to use safe mode it starts to load files stop for 3-5second’s at aswrvrt.sys and then restarts. I’ve tried using sfc/scannow but it shows that repair is already pending and i need to restart computer and after restart i get to same window as described in the beggining. Please someone help me.

been having this same problem off and on for 2 weeks, scans come back clean tho. Now Antivirus is off (firewall OK) it wont turn back on

my frst log (as i know i’d be asked for it)

What occurred prior to this ?

Download the attached Fixlist.txt to the same location as FRST
Run FRST and press Fix
On completion a log will be generated please post that
Then try a normal boot

after fix on normal boot bluescreen flashed again and computer restarted. Fixlog attached.

i’ll check replies in about 12 hours or even more coz i’m going to sleep now and then i’ll have school. Oh and thank you for trying to help.

results from scans

http://files.avast.com/files/rootkit-scanner/aswmbr.exe won’t run. Says Avast has shut down

@stubbornmom could you start your own topic please and I will pick you up there

@szo1 prior to your system not booting had you installed or updated any other programmes. How many hard drives are there in your system

I have 2 hard drives (5 partitions overall ) and i had installed 1 or 2 games (i’m not sure) but my computer was working after that it has stopped working 2 days later.

Could you disconnect the hard drive that does not have the operating system on it and then try a boot

unpluged and turned off drive without OS and rebooted, as before only bluescreen flashed and computer restarted

When the blue screen comes up does it reference a stop code ? As this looks like it may be a hardware problem

no, just takes forever then stops working. Still cannot start Avast antivirus

Could you try a safe mode start please and let me know where it gets to

okey dokey

now it flashes bluescreen just after stucking on classpnp.sys

What happened prior to the non-booting ? As Avast does not appear to be the problem

i do not even remember now i think there was break in energy deliver about 3-4 hours before it

Do you mean a power cut ?

Do you have an image or a windows CD
