Windows Viast Alarm on security center - No antivirus program is active!!

Dear Sir,

After upgrading to the Avast! 2014, the security center of Windows Vista always issues a warning about “no antivirus program is active”. I tried to push the button to active Avast! However, the warning is still issued at the next boot-up. I go through the Avast! settings and cannot find any one helpful to solve this issue. Please give me a hand for this. Thanks a lot.

Have you rebooted more than thrice since installing?

If you have, run a repair and reboot.
