windows XP booting stop after aswRvrt.sys even in Safe Mode

I starting new thread for my problem with booting windows XP.
Problem like many others… windows XP booting stop after aswRvrt.sys even in Safe Mode

Computer: laptop Samsung SA11

Attached it the OTL.txt file.
I will be grateful for your help.

Thanks, Richard

Could you use FRST please as OTL loses format and data in this forum

thx for quick answer
here is FRST file

Initially I will reset the registry, once it has done you may need to run startup repair two or three times

Download the attached fixlist to the same location as FRST
Run FRST as before and press fix
On completion try a normal boot

I ran it 3 times, and still not working. Then booting I have still same error.
any idea ?

What happened prior to the system not booting ? Did you install/update any programmes ?

This will disable both Avast and Avira

Download the attached fixlist to the same location as FRST
Run FRST and press fix
On completion try a normal boot

Unfortunately, still nothing :frowning:
now system stop booting on crcdisk.sys

Before I wroted here, checked:

  • disk, checkdisk from boot cd, all ok,

  • antyvirus (on other computer, disk conected by usb). This test has detected and removed several problems:
    – MalSign.Somoto.907, G:\Users\Kasia\Downloads\Keylogger_downloader-I6jzg9LZf.exe"
    – (broken exe file) G:\Users\Kasia\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\7QCFSK15\SkypeSetupFull[1].exe
    – (broken exe file) G:\Users\Kasia\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\U8B0O951\SkypeSetupFull[1].exe
    – (broken exe file) G:\Users\Kasia\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\7QCFSK15\SkypeSetupFull[2].exe
    – adware Generic5.AOJM, G:\Users\Kasia\AppData\Local\Mobogenie\Version\CacheVersion\Mobogenie2.1.36.zip
    – posible adware MultiBundle, G:\Program Files\RegClean Pro\Cloud_Backup_Setup.exe
    – posible adware MultiBundle, G:\Users\Kasia\Downloads\rcpsetup_marim_marm.exe

  • mem test, also I try boot without one memory chip (alternately)

I don’t now what happened earlier. This is my sister’s laptop. He says that just wiping the dust from keyboard (rubbed by hand) and the computer is turned off.

Are you happy to go into the BIOS ? If so check that the date and time is correct if it is, is there an option to set the BIOS to default

Is a good idea :). Later I restarted bios, but did not notice that date is incorrect.

When I set correct date and time, system still wont start. But each restart goes back clock one hour.

Could you remove the battery and power cord and then press the power button for at least 15 seconds

Then reinsert the battery, reset the BIOS time and try again

Still nothing, (battery is ok - 3V)
Windows won’t start and each restart goes back clock one hour.

I am afraid we have reached the limit of what I can do and I do not know what else to suggest

did U thing is problem with hardware ?

We have not yet tried to undo the system (checkpoint) - that can help ?
I see that I will have the ‘format’ :frowning:

We tried a restore in the first fix, so it does look like a reinstall

ok,
Thank you for your help and time
