Windows XP BSOD crash 0x0000000a

Hi all,
this BSOD occurred when I selected History/restore previous tabs in Firefox 29
Here’s a little info from Whocrashed:

On Fri 5/2/2014 11:00:42 PM GMT your computer crashed
crash dump file: F:\WINDOWS\memory.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: aswsnx.sys (aswSnx+0x1660)
Bugcheck code: 0xA (0x1, 0x2, 0x1, 0xFFFFFFFF804E4001)
Error: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
file path: F:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\aswsnx.sys
product: avast! Antivirus
company: AVAST Software
description: avast! Virtualization Driver
Bug check description: This indicates that Microsoft Windows or a kernel-mode driver accessed paged memory at DISPATCH_LEVEL or above.
This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem.
A third party driver was identified as the probable root cause of this system error. It is suggested you look for an update for the following driver: aswsnx.sys (avast! Virtualization Driver, AVAST Software).

I have a 200MB dmp file - if it’s of any use, I’ll keep it for a while - thanks.

You can upload your minidump(s) here: ftp://ftp.avast.com/incoming/

Did you install ALL updates for XP?
What SP do you have?
What exact version of avast?
Why do you have windows installed on drive F and not on C?
What other OS/SP do you have installed?
What bootloader are you using?

XP is fully updated.
the latest (non-beta) free edition.
I have a three-way boot setup; two installs of xp and one of Vista each in their own partition.
Using the Vista boot loader.

Try a repair.
start > control panel > software > avast > add/remove > choose repair.
Let’s see if that solves it.

MEMORY_d.zip FTP’d to the above site.
