Windows XP file

I have a big problem lately in my computer so I’m thinking to reinstall the Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3 but I don’t have CD it is possible to reinstall from the file which will be burn to CD and use that CD to reinstall Window XP?

I don’t know if you are suggesting reinstalling or doing a repair install of the complete Operating System (OS). Or if you are only contemplating reinstalling the SP3 again.

If reinstall of the complete OS - you would still have to enter your Microsoft Windows License/Product Key or Certificate of Authenticity after you reinstalled the OS. Part of that would be in the side of the computer somewhere or on the CD cover itself (which you don’t have). You may be a do it if the product key is still on the case.

Otherwise this reinstall is likely to be frustrating if having done it you can’t register/enter the product key, etc.

I try this program but doesn’t work Windows Repair (All In One)

That is possibly a better option as you shouldn’t be left with a system/OS that you can’t register/enter the product code having tried to reinstall it.

That’s me for the night, 2:30am here.

It is possible to repair Windows XP from CD if you have with out loosing any data ?

The loss of data generally isn’t an issue, but it rather depends on how you have your hard disk partitioned (data saved on a different partition to the operating system and or backed-up) and what type of repair you are attempting, repair install without formatting or install with format of OS partition.

In either case a repair install still leaves you with the need to used windows update as a repair install would be installing old files from the CD. These may have been

This isn’t a simple task and not something you should jump into without a lot of thought (back-up your data before you even contemplate this) and planning. In all honesty I feel you should identify the areas you are having problems with and try to resolve those issues.

EDIT: This appears to be what you are doing in your other topic with essexboy, so I feel that you should continue with that rather than undermine the work he is doing and have two topics on the go for this issue.
