Windows XP - safe mode stops on aswRvrt.sys

I’m having a similar problem to others where I am experiencing a BSOD error [“UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME… STOP: 0x000000ED (0x8679F00, 0xC000009C, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)”], and when attempting to start in Safe Mode it stops on aswRvrt.sys and goes back to the BSOD error.

I’ve followed the instructions I found in other threads for making a BootCD with OTLPENet.exe and running FRST from a flash drive, which gave me the attached log. I’m unsure of though what my next step should be and would greatly appreciate any help.

From the Retogo desktop select Command Prompt
Type in the following and press enter :

chkdsk c: /r

If this does not work then remove the second hard drive from the computer and try again
