Avast says it has some kind of malware. Is that true?
Some donload sources are know to be unsafe like"htxp://www.freeware.de/download/winled_57945.htm"l, which download is given by avast rep as unsafe. Can come installed onto Dell Systems: http://exe.paretologic.com/detail.php/winled

Does this “some kind of malware” have a name?
Have you tested file at www.virustotal.com
@polonus: thanks!
Avast identifies Win32:Evo-gen .
@pondus: Thanks, I ran it through virus total and got a 100 point safe score!
So not malware but suspicious. Win32:Evo-gen [susp] = suspicious
Report it here. https://support.avast.com
maybe because of the very nature of the program (hard drive interrupt access or something?)
if few use it, or it was just updated it may be detected as suspicious
Hi anderg,
Suggest you update the file to avast or post it to virus@avast.com and see what they report on that detection.
