Yesterday Avast asked to optimize my PC which I allowed. As part of that it also performed some registry operations and then I restarted. The computer now connects to the wireless but with no internet. The trouble shooter says “Wireless Network Connection” doesn’t have a valid IP configuration. I am running Windows 10 and no other changes were made so it must be with the actions that Avast initiated. Please help!
Undo the changes that avast has made.
Run CleanUp again and check what it has found and only allow it to make changes to things that won’t do harm.
