With AVAST could this happen?

For clients. friends, etc. always recommend to AVAST and SpyBot but one day the AVAST a client asked him to reboot the PC and the restart when he lost the task bar.

Then the restart in safe mode, uninstall the AVAST in normal mode and it went back to install.

Until the other day I called the customer that you were leaving the chkdsk revise the disk that had the same problems and then he went out blue screens.

The next step was to repair the installation, in console mode does not allow me to spend the chkdsk, when I was able to complete the chkdsk tells me that the disk does not have good and bad sectors.

Restart the computer, again I skip the chkdsk that the disc has a problem where everything terminated backed the info ok

I decided to reinstall from scratch formatting and sometimes I do not find unity

And in the last week brought me 4 pcs with the same problem

Check the systems for malware before doing anything. Take out the drive(s), put them as slave (or second) drive in a working system and scan them. I do not think avast is causing this. Could be malware or some (network) software he has installed.

I move the same as happened to my compatriot, I am not a company, only I use my computer to surf. I was browsing, and appeared a poster that said that if he wanted to restart, gave me the option to: Yes and no. The poster had the appearance of Avast, as the posters that makes Avast. And then I rebooting the screen freezes, and then restart did not appear the taskbar. This follows me going. For me this is a virus, which is disguised as part of Avast. It should be noted that not give the order to restart when you see a poster of Avast.

Difficult to say, but blue screens could be due to another antivirus present or bad uninstalled. Could be due to some firewalls…
avast shouldn’t change anything related to recovery console and chkdsk… I think these things aren’t related each other.
