Won't accept license

I purchased a license for the SecureLine and I downloaded the license file. When I go into the screen to that asks me to Insert the license (if you already have one) I select the file and choose Open. It seems to accept it… but then I cannot connect. When I try to connect, the only option is to purchase a subscription.

Please include your log file when you open a support ticket. It can be found on C: drive, Program Data, Avast Software, Avast folder.
