Won't accept the key

How in heck do I get avast to accept the key? It gave me one but says its invalid. IT’S DRIVING ME CRAZY

How are you putting it in? Cut and paste or you just typing it? If just typing it make sure you’re typing the right letters/numbers. You could be mixing O’s with 0’S.

HI,

As mentioned you may have to copy and paste the key into the correct part of the registration form for it to work. Sometimes thats the only way it will work even though you may have typed everything correctly. Try the copy and paste method and see if that might work for you. :slight_smile:

Also make sure the system clock is set correctly (especially the Year). The key has the validity of 14 months is if the clock is set to a value after July/August 2005 the key won’t be acceppted.
