MHDD is a very reliable tool.
Okay. In the meantime these are the results from FRST which I’d assume won’t be of much use. In the Addition.txt file I can see that my OS drive is still listed as “Disk: 0 (Size:932GB)(Disk ID: 527CD163)” with “Partition: GPT Partition Type”
So MHDD is also like a temporary OS? You mean I won’t be using Reatogo this time right?
I’ll follow up later. Thanks again for helping sir argus.
Edit: nvm. i’m running it now. there already more than 10 inputs in x UNC so far. so it’s damaged? is there something i can still do?
UNC inputs are now 200+ and still climbing!!
Edit 2: I guess I’ll be buying a new hdd. About time I upgraded to an SSD anyway.
Edit 3: While scanning, the UNC count reached 600+ and then my laptop just turned off without any warnings or anything. I’m sorry for bothering you guys when apparently all I had was a bad hdd.
Edit 4: I think my battery actually died. I forgot to plug in.
We already have a result anyway, right? Anyway I’m running the scan again just to finish it.
HDD is gone it can not be fixed, you need to buy a new HDD, this is physically damaged. Try to save data.
Good luck.
Okay. Thanks for trying to help me.
In any case, now you know what is the problem.
