Worm found not detected by !avast

I think I’ve found a worm that !avast has not detected. It was found in this folder (see Attachment #1). The web site here http://www.processlibrary.com/directory/files/pchealth/ said it’s a worm and should be remover IMMEDIATELY.

Please help with this.

Maybe it looks like a fake-av website

not a fake av website. Processlibrary is a good site

corection…upon ferther investigation i have determined that process library is CRAP lol live n learn

hi,

Welcome to the avast forum,

Please download SuperAntiSpyware, then do update of the database and engine.
After that you may try to re-scan it again.

Hopefully can fulfill what does you need.

is it comapable with !avast or do i need to shut down avast??? two avti virus running at the same time IS VERY BAD

superantispyware is not a virusprogram. See my signatur, i am running MBAM pro and SAS pro, no problem

Hi,

Yes correct as pondus mentioned that SAS wouldn’t conflict with avast.
You don’t need to shutdown avast antivirus, instead of that you can run it with avast.

Cheers,

The files in the picture you attached are legit. It is pchealth.exe which is the worm.

Hm…talking about virus then talking about registry cleaner =_="

hmmmm I dont understand?? you say files in picture ARE liegit but you then say pchealth.exe IS the worm.
so is the file good or bad???

hmmmm i don’t know what the heck you are talking about. We discussing a passable WORM. No one has said ANYTHING about a virus or a registry cleaner.
Before putting in your two cents worth it would be advisable to read what others are discussing.

Look carefully. Your attached picture displays:

pchealth pchealth.inf pchealth.PNF

Now, check your source (Process Library), it says: pchealth.exe. Check the file extensions carefully.
