Yesterday, while clicking on a physicians site on Google search, I got the yahlover popup.
I immediately shut it in task manager, and ran my Avast.
Something was attached to this popup. I haven’t downloaded anything lately, so it was hiding. My computer is quite jacked.
After several unsuccessful efforts to get Avast to find it, I ran
rkill
malwarebyes including rootkill
adwcleaner
and thinking about hitman pro
Can anyone offer any advice, or perhaps know what the infection might be? I can’t get to logs.
