please update avast to remove worm w32/jadi.A because there’s only two antivirus that can detect it, and it’s not free to use them… t the virus create a file *.exe size:52kb and duplocate it self with JPG icon on it. thank you…
Can’t you send a sample (of the infected files) to virus@avast.com ?
You can use Alwil FTP server as a second way to transfer only big files. Upload them to ftp://ftp.avast.com/incoming (please, note that you won’t have READ access to the ftp server, just write - so you won’t even be able to see what you’ve just uploaded).
Alternatively, you can zip and password the files… Inform a link to this thread and the password used.
You can send the files to Chest and, from there, resend to Alwil for analysis.
Thanks.
Yes, please submit those Indonesian virus to virus@avast.com

Hi donisaurus,
This is another variant of the Brontok family of viruses. If you mailed it to Avast, it will be included in the signatures file. Use a safe e-mail policy, because that is the way these viruses-worms are spread (photo in attached file): see for kind of infection:

i have send the virus sample to virus@avast.com, i hope it delivered perfectly… please let us know the result for the worm analysis asap… thank you
thank you… i have removed the link… i’am sorry and thank you for remind me…
Whilst I appreciate you are trying to help and it is a password protected zip file, it also makes the sample widely available for good or evil.
Please don’t post live/active links to suspect files, you can break the active link with spaces or use the code tag to make the link inactive. I may be better to remove it completely as this forum is publicly available to anyone.
