worried again

Ugh I seem to be having trouble… again! I attempted to download the new version and I thought it was a done deal but when i rebooted as it prompted me to… and each and everytime i reboot now i get the same message:

Information about current update:
Last encountered error: Cannot connect to download90.avast.com (70.86.205.194:80).

Total time: 43 s
It does appear i have the new version but i guess the problem is it won’t update like it should… why would that be??

Also today I did a SAS scan and all the cookies it found all seemed pretty normal to me but this one
C;\windows\temp\cookies\hp_owner@2o7(1).txt.
I quarantined them all encluding the one above… do you think Im havinga a problem again???
Ugh and Wahhh!
Sassy

hi

Make sure your firewall is allowing avast.setup. The version will have changed, so comodo should have asked you to approve the new version.

aww ok not sure it asked me… and if i did i might not have known what it was asking! geesh!!! ty again
did this look like something i need to worry about… This came up on my last SAS scan
C;\windows\temp\cookies\hp_owner@2o7(1).txt.
hugs tc and happy holidays!!
Sassy!

Happy holidays to you too.

If it’s just a tracking cookie, no problem. Turf it.

Try a manual update of the vps, comodo should ask you. Make sure you read what it’s asking and take the appropriate action.

 Hi :

“Cookies” can ALWAYS be immediately “Deleted” and NOT “Quarantined” .
However, when I run a SUPERAntiSpyware Scan and it finds “Cookies”,
it “quarantines”, then immediately “deletes” . You have a different
experience with SUPERAntiSpyware !?
