i was looking for a good freeware videorecording sw and after trying some i got this one…
then i got black screen and after some forced restart and task manager interruption i got back my pc control… (i had to terminate explorer.exe and restart it some times to make it work)
avast was ko (disabled for some dll missing), no restore point working and something other…
now i’ve disinstalled and reinstalled avast and seems working.
damned f :-X ing virus!
i hope this could be useful
after this… i’m using avast since 6 years and i will go in this way

From my experience, these are some good videorecorders that you can use: Camtasia - Cost money, but good for professional videoing Hypercam 2/3 - 2 is free; 3 has more features Camstudio 2.0 - Although old, it still generates good videos
Did you read their terms, if they have any? If so, did you agree to something like, ‘we reserve the right to change blah
blah blah from blah blah blah’, etc…?
i really dont know.. i just know that after installing that **** i got many problems
upload suspicious file(s) to www.virustotal.com and test with 40+ malware scanners
when you have the result, copy the url in the address bar and post it here for us to see
no reason black screen (only task manager was working but not properly)
restart
same black screen after windows loading and few of all process started (about 4-5… normally i have 40 apx active process at start)
explorer.exe terminated (task man.)
new operation explorer.exe (task man.)
same problem from first of this list after some seconds, and after some explorer restart i tryed a system restore.
i got something like “restore failed, there’s nothing to restore”
i’ve disinstalled the program and now seems all working properly…
then i run a system complete scan with avast highest severity option and an other one with malware bytes with no detection.
yes they have… http://www.effectmatrix.com/terms-conditions.htm
