I seem to have picked up something nasty, despite having your Internet Security and MalwareBytes. This search engine (http:// www .istart123. com/) comes up in both Chrome and IE11. Avast seems to block it on Waterfox though. I’ve run an Avast boot scan and MalwareBytes is set to scan for rootkits, but neither have found anything.

I’m not up on the techno computer talk, so any instructions and/or information you can give will have to be in simple terms, please.

Many thanks.

since you have run Malwarebytes you only have to run frst from that guide eddy gave you
scroll down to Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and run as instructed … attach the two diagnostic logs

Thank you. I’ll try this.

I’ve run all the scans, and attach the results, which I hope will help.
Many thanks.

Thank you

As soon as a specialist is online and available he will help you.
