Hello!
I use Avast 5 free under Win7 64bit. But, v5 seems only a 32bit application.
Exist a native x64 version of Avast v5 free?
I see in the task manager: avastui.exe *32
Thanks:

You don’t need it. Really.
avast works perfectly on x64 bits.
It will be a native version in the future.
Not now…

avast! V5.1 due out later this year will support Win7 64bit.
avast! 5.0 (even 4.x) supports 64bit OSes already.
Version 5.1 will support the boot-time scan in 64bit OSes. Whether there will be a fully 64bit version of 5.1 or not, it wasn’t decided yet. From users’ point of view, it doesn’t really matter - the “hybrid” version (64bit drivers and a few DLLs, the rest in 32bits) works just fine.
I do hope there will be a 64bit version - one of the reasons I chose Avast is the boot time scan.
As Igor said the boot-time scan will be available for 64bit OSes when avast 5.1 is released and to do the avast boot-time scan in 64bit OSes doesn’t require a full 64bit version of avast.
