The last 3 nights, I have been getting multiple alerts from Avast that it is finding threats from http://xmlka.com/click? etc.
the alerts can happen every 5 seconds and tends to get into things. I bring up task manager and find some items like svhost , default IME running many instnaces and I can’t delete them…they just keep popping up. I do my scans with Spybot and Adaware and they show nothing but my computer will being to get slower and slower as my resources are becoming bogged down by uses of 177 k for things like svhost. The alert has come up 21 times just while typing this message. I not only want to block these alerts which are annoying but keep whatever is getting in and using my resources. Help!
These alerts are much more numerous in the evenings between 7-11 EDST.
Attach your basic logs. (MBAM, FRST and aswMBR…!!)
