XP is not starting in last known, safe mode, and hanging on aswrvrt.sys

Hi, I have a problem where XP won’t boot at all in any of the modes and hangs on aswrvrt.sys when booting in safe mode.

can anyone help me with this problem.

btw i used Reatogo desktop and Farbar Recovery Scan tool and generated FRST file.

OK from the reatogo desktop open a command prompt and type the following command

chkdsk c: /r

Once it has completed try a normal boot

after CHKDSK, rebooted with XP CD and did a repair of existing XP, everything is back to normal.
