XP telling me Avast is turned off?

Hello.

Recently, my computer has started reporting that Avast is turned off, but hovering over the icon says 4 servises are running, which seems about right. The main services (Standard Shield, Web Shield) are running, so is there a reason this might be coming up…?

I’ve got the latest build and virus definitions, and the AV is clearly running 'cause it caught a trojan yesterday for me…

No, the services are running and I’m fully protected, but Windows keeps popping up a security warning saying I don’t have any anti virus turned on… even though it is.
