i installed avast 4.7 home edition yesterday . it seems when i login to yahoo i dont see the messages in the window , whether i send or receive. i can read the message being typed but cant see it when i send it 
. i have disabled āInstant Messagingā but the problem still exists. how can i get this working?
P.S : Font color is set to black

Avast! monitors only incoming IM so it really canāt have any effect on how messages you type are displayed.
In trying to duplicate the problem on my computer I found that randomly changing the font several times caused the condition - at least for outbound messages. Setting the font back to arial, then closing and re-opening the message window solved the problem. See if this helps.
