your computer is running slowly

I get this once in a while. There is a button to improve performance.

My question is, if I click the button, does it first show all the things causing slowness, and then the option to fix them, or does it just go ahead and do stuff?

I would rather it shows me first and then gives the option to proceed… can anyone tell me?

The question is if you have avast CleanUp installed.
If not, nothing at all will happen.
If you do it will show you what has been found after which you can select to have CleanUp do its job.

It turns out to be a sales pitch to up-sell CleanUp or something, ie spam, and has about as much legitimacy as the “Windows Support Centre” people who call from India saying my computer is faulty.

No my computer is NOT running slowly, and I object to this kind of spam. Please remove it Avast! >:(
