Youtube ads getting through

Youtube ads are playing all of a sudden, both the intrusive video and banner.

Hi,

Try to set the Privacy Guard to the Strict mode:

Go to Security and Privacy Center (green checkmark or under three dots menu) →
Privacy Guard → Settings → Strict Blocking

It should help because in general we use less strict Basic or Balanced modes.

A simple solution is to pay for YouTube Premium. :slight_smile:

At £11.99 per month in the UK for YouTube Premium, you would have to be using it a hell of a lot to even consider that.

There are some youtube ad blockers, but I don’t know if they would be able to install them on Avast Secure Browser. Or how effective they would be.
