YouTube and YouTube TV intermittent issues

I just updated Avast! and now I cannot reliably watch YouTube or YouTube TV. When I do get connected, resolution is 144 to 360! Turning off Avast! solves the problem.

I do not have this issue on my Pixel 9 Pro XL running on the exact same network.

Correction - this is impacting performance across all web sites.

Turning off web shield fixes the issue. As soon as that is turned off, browsing speeds return to normal.

Please fix.

Performance seems back to normal after:

Back up configuration (not necessary, but a good precaution)
Repair installation through Account->Settings->Repair Avast! One
Reboot

YouTube and YouTube TV connect at appropriate resolutions for a 1 Gb/sec up/down network. Other websites operate normally (no stuck loading various parts).

I will see how this goes after an evening of work / play.
