Am trying to install ZAP 10.0.240.000 on my netbook (Windows XP SP3), but keep getting the message that installation cannot complete because Avast is already installed (I have free Avast AV 6).
Anyone else experiences this? Solutions?
Had serious conflicts also with combination ZAP 9 and Avast 6.

You can use the search function to find that there have been many issues with Zone alarm Pro and avast before,i dont know much about ZAP but it must have an av componant that does not agree with avast.

Hi, got the same thing.I downloaded the latest Zonealarm pro just to try.It won’t even begin to install with avast already on the pc.
Regarding the other comments, I didn’t think ZAP had an antivirus.Thought it would be just a firewall. ???

You may want to read some very recent user reviews of ZAP Pro 10.x. Basically they say it is pretty awful and give their reasons for saying so.

I had the same problem. The only way I could get around it and it was suggested by tech support is to remove avast, update ZA then reinstall avast. Seems to be working for me for the last 2 days.
But as stated above I’m considering downgrading
