"ZipPSW worm" virus

For the past week and half I have been getting notifications about this virus. I am receiving over 80 notifications a day? I have copied one of the messaged below. Is avast! cleaning the email? If not, how do I go about fixing the virus

avast! [MWIMMSXP]: File “Incoming email ‘Alyce’ From: “Jewimb” jewimb@msn.com, To: “Mwimms” mwimms@lusterproducts.com\Susan.zip#1300750210” is infected by “ZipPSW worm” virus.

I’m somewhat confused are you getting alerted by avast ?
If the avast clean message is at the bottom of the email it isn’t infected, I suspect these are ISP email server bounced emails purporting to come from you that are meant to be infected?

If the emails are detected by avast as infected avast can do nothing about repeat emails and can only deal with them as they arrive.

If avast detected the email as infected it would wake the dead in your street with the audible alert. It would also not be allowing it through and printing a clean message at the bottom of the email, it would be asking you what action to take.

Hi Unbeliever,

Believe DavidR in what he says, if this had entered your computer, you would have been troubled by these symptoms, if you were unprotected:

Happily you’re not, well you can check out for yourself.

Thank you for your responses. All I was asking if the virus was getting clean and you answered the questions for me.
