Actually, the 590.015 seems to be ok as far as 1024 is concerned, however, it still allows ICMP pings to be sent and received which makes a computer “locatable”.

I set ZA to High which should make it completely stealth.
All ports are hidden to the internet; Messenger pops are blocked on UDP 35 but otherwise all seems ok.

I normally depend on Sygate since it is configurable to port blocking and I can limit or stop certain Udp, Imcp traffic.

Did you query ZA tech support yet?

PS: If users go to www.grc.com and look for the “old” Shields Up, they are in for a surprise. SU has changed to a “panel” format which is really nice. New features have been added. It is a must “link”.
