a new zone alarm popup came up saying Avast Antivirus updater wanted to access the internet so I let it and nothing happened… my mom has the same version of Avast and it said a new version of Avast was available but If it is It’s strange I havent gotten it because it says both my program and virus deffinitions are up to date?
As has been explained in several threads already… Alwil has chosen to spread updates for the application itself (not the virus database!) over a week. This dicission has been made to spread the load on their server. Basicly it comes to this: I get the latest update right now, and you get the same update later this week. (or the other way around)
Wait 7 days, and if you haven’t got a update after that, than start to worry
