I ‘Searched’ for this but my results came back with nothing.
Installed Zune from the disc, updated it from within the application, installed other necessary applications, cleaned up junk files, am defragmenting the hard drive, when all of a sudden Avast pops up with a report that a Rootkit named ZuneDriver.dll.mui is a suspicious hidden object (rootkit) and wants to remove it. This on a fresh install of Windows XP MCE (just so you know), and, as I said before, a clean install of Zune from the disc, and update from within the application. This is the first time Avast! has warned me about it, and only while defragmenting the hard drive just now.
Full path: C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\UMDF\it-IT\ZuneDriver.dll.mui
Is this a false positive? Sure seems like it must be. -kd5-
