See attached image, Cleanup detected Virtual Clone Drive as slowing me down, but its path includes Microsoft Onedrive in addition to VCD itself…
Hello,
thank you for reporting this, we will take a look at it and fix it as soon as possible.
Avast Cleanup team.
Hi,
so far we haven’t been able to induce the same issue on our machines, could you please either try to install the latest version of Virtual Clone Drive and check it again or provide us with more information how did you induce it?
Also if you would send us log files we might be able to find our more information by ourselves.
You could now do that simply by navigating into Settings → Troubleshooting and clicking on “Send logs to Avast” which opens a simple dialog where you just fill in your email so we can contact you in case we would need more information (email won’t be used to any other purposes like marketing etc.!) and you can also add an additional information and then click “Send logs” and everything will be done automatically.
We tried to simply install VCD on the same machine with Microsoft One Drive but in Cleanup we just see VCD startup item (see attached picture).
Thank you.
Thanks for the reply.
Logs sent. I’ll update VCD and see it makes some difference.
I updated VCD to the latest (5.5.0.0) and rebooted, but Avast Cleanup still shows the same.
Thank you for the data you sent, it was very helpful.
We’ve already identified the problem and working on the fix.
Regards.
Thanks for the info. Glad to hear that.
