I’ve been using Avast free for several years now. I just bought a netbook that I wish to also have Avast on. Can I download it for the netbook, or is there some way to co-use my current Avast free that’s on my desktop?
There’s nothing wrong with downloading to your netbook. Just fill in the registration form.
That way you will be surfing safely. Free is just that “free”. I’m sorry I do not understand what
you mean by “co-using”. Just download to your netbook. And you are good to go. 
You need a separate install on your netbook.

I’m using it on 7 different installs. Since they are all home computers and not for business, that’s fine.
