2015.10.0.2208 takes all CPU

On my Dell vostro 3500 with Win7 Servicepack 1, 32bit, 4 gig memory, I keep having the problem that Avast takes 100% CPU. How to fix, do I need to uninstall, change which .ini file? Thanks!
I know in older versions there has been this issue, but would like recent update on the fix

Try removing the NG component via " uninstall - change " and see if it makes a difference.

Thanks CraigB: What is the ‘NG’ component or what does it do??

Eddy: Thanks, I now know what NG is…
However, will disabling it fix the CPU hogging??

There is only one way to find out.
Disable/remove it.

Basically it the new virtualisation technology that avast uses, it can provide more protection but if it’s causing problems then you can remove it and Avast will be like it was in the previous 2014 version.

Thanks Craig and Eddy:
The issue for me is: You write: ‘but if it’s causing problems then you can remove it’ - I do not know that this is causing the problem.
Anyway, will do that and see if it happens again.
This morning I just re-booted, and the CPU hogging was gone. Evidently it just happens at certain undefined instances…
Thank you much for your attention!

No problem, keep us informed
