I received an email that contained ‘Top General Topics’ and, further, the notification appears at the top of my ‘Avatar’ list.
Moving forward:
-One, how do I opt out of receiving these emails?
-Two, how do I opt out of them displaying under my ‘Avatar Notifications?’
‘When I Don’t Visit Here, Send Me An Email Summary Of Popular Topics And Replies’ is unchecked so, ‘clearly,’ I am missing a detail.
Check out Preferences => Emails => Email.
The topic is here and you may be mentioned somewhere there so that second option (“Email me when I am quoted…”) kicked in.
The response was ‘not’ helpful.
As ‘already’ mentioned, the option ‘When I Don’t Visit Here’ option is ‘already’ unchecked.
Either there is a glitch, the setting is elsewhere, or I am missing a detail.
The ‘Email Me When I Am Quoted’ option was already set to ‘Never.’
‘As a result, clearly, there is a glitch.’
