Had to repair Avast this evening and when doing so got a surprise…
Updated to 4.6.601
All seems to work well…
Just one little thing I noticed (and Im using Win98SE btw) Avast disappeared from Program Files after the update 
edit: oops… sorry… someone may wanna move this to the correct thread. I just found the announcement hits self upside head
