Microsoft and Avast say I need an update.

Updated and still get message that my version 4.7 needs update.

Wha hopponing?

Check your system date/time?
Right click the ‘a’ blue icon > About > and post here the avast program version and the virus database version :wink:

You are correct.

I looked ahead on my clock to see which day of the week a date in August falls on and forgot to cancel and go back to present date.

Now that I’m on correct date, notice is gone.
