what happened? ??? Got this ‘404’ since yesterday, and i don’t know why. i still get the daily updates, and my internet connection is fine

Well the only thing in there would be the Upgrade to Pro/AIS and the iNews.

For some reason the advert bit wasn’t available, possibly changing it over or web site update. I never noticed anything.

It looks like a firewall is blocking AvastUI.exe access to the internet.

Rather depends if it had previously worked, but it is certainly worth checking.

Which doesn’t have outbound protection (no outbound checking/blocking), so it is likely to be a temporary hiccup like that which I mentioned.

I though it was more likely to be a temporary hiccup of not being able to connect.
