Which OS are you using? 32 or 64 bit? Windows key and X ???

32 bit.

Windows key and X gives me x

By default, the Windows Mobility Center feature is only available on laptops, notebooks, and tablet PCs. It is not available on desktop computers unless enabled.

Guess tomorrow I’ll have to try it on the desktop that’s running Win7 and turn that feature ON
