When i was updating it said not to cancel or i would occur problems but i had to start over because the update wasn’t connecting at all,when i started the program over it finally updated so would i occur problems in the future like it stated?
For some reason the boot scanner doesn’t work it just hangs,is there a fix for that(i’m in windows 2000)?
I would say and possible problem would relate to that update and not be carried forward.
In any case I would say it would be unrelated to the problem you mention with the boot-time scan.
Try a repair of avast. Add Remove programs, select ‘avast! Anti-Virus,’ click the Change/Remove button and scroll down to Repair, click next and follow. You need to be on-line to do this.
It shouldn’t… I mean, the update could correct itself and things should work.
