A created Memory scan detects but the Quick and Full does not

I was curious as to why a created Memory scan detects several things from another AV (not running) but the Quick and Full does not. One would think the full would detect everything including what the created memory scan does.

Anyone know why this is?

Because the level of memory scan is different, more thorough/in depth.

That is why the standard pre-defined scans are the better option as I feel that they would pick up anything serious.
