A doubt about upgrading from Avast PREMIUM Security to Avast ULTIMATE

Hi everybody.

I currently own an AVAST PREMIUM SECURITY subscription for 10 devices. However, I’m considering upgrading to the ULTIMATE version for 10 devices.

I see that the PREMIUM SECURITY software, has the extra options of the ULTIMATE version but they’re just not active.

My question is: If I upgrade the licenses on my current 10 devices with an ULTIMATE license, will I have to download AVAST ULTIMATE and reinstall it on all my devices?

Or simply, when I enter the ULTIMATE license in my AVAST PREMIUM SECURITY, it will just detect it has become now an ULTIMATE version, and it will just activate the extra security modules (VPN, CleanUp, etc.)?

I’m asking because the idea of reinstalling again and setting up rules on each device, would be a hassle that I do not want to go through, and, in that case, I would simply upgrade the PREMIUM SECURITY license instead.

I’ll answer my own question:

No issues.
You can add a license for the Ultimate version although your software installation is Premium Security. After adding the new license, it’ll just turn on the 3 missing module activations.
