A problem after updating FF

Hello all!

I updated FF today and now a video on my website is gone. The same video is also missing from my friend’s site. There’s a white square where the video “box” should be. It’s fine on IE8, though. It’s a YouTube video. Now, I haven’t updated Flash yet, could that be the issue? I know nothing about Flash, so I don’t even know if it would be involved in the video or not. Is it “safe” to update Flash through FF? (I was reading another thread on here and that started me wondering if I should update it straight from Adobe.)

Thanks!!

EDIT: The same video works fine ON YouTube. I just looked at the code (which I originally copied from my friend’s site!) and it mentions x-shockwave-flash. Is that the same as Adobe Flash Player? (Don’t laugh, please… )

Yes i think it is safe to update adobe flash player on your computer Through Firefox the link to download the update is http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer  but if you want to read the update that mozilla posted on http://www.support.mozilla.com the link goes to http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Managing+the+Flash+Plugin#Updating_Flash

Thank you! I went ahead and updated Flash and that took care of the problem!
