I cannot see my attachments in forum if not logged in. I think the other people cannot as well.
I add my pictures using additional options (browse/select). Do I something wrong? Is there another setting somewhere? Thanks.
That is a choice made by admins. To be able to see attached images/files, you need to have an account and be signed in.
Thanks. But, how could someone know that there is an attachment? There is not even a sign of attachment.
Why would someone nfrom outside the forum need to see the attachment?
This is a typical feature on most forums…if you are signed in you can see the attachment
I think, you misunderstood me a little.
I have an account in this forum and want to log in only if I had to write something. When I know that there is an attachment in a message which could be interesting for me, I would decide to log in.
Ok, well I don’t know about other forums, but this one doesn’t show whether there is an attachment or not when logged out…not even sure if that particular feature is even an option for SMF…
I tend to stay logged in, as there are other benefits, like the Unread Replies/Topics links at the top, which make finding new topics easy 
Now I know why I was missing things I was not logged in… ;D
Most people make reference to any attachments they post, so there’s your queue to log in.
