About bookmark updating

I saw in the “FAQ post” the advice about old bookmarks not working.
It says:
“update your bookmarks with the new URLs”

I tried replacing forum.avast.com…” with community.avast.com…” but that led me to a “Page not found” message.

So I’m asking: what is the correct way to update those bookmarks in order to have them work again?

And so it is with many topics, where there were solutions, advice. You will not find them anymore. I was looking for advice on the avast passwords add-on, I had the page saved but nothing works from the old forum.

Clicking the Community tab at the top of screen will load many sub forums including Avast Passwords Avast Community

Thank you but you don’t understand, the link with the reference doesn’t work. The topic, yes, but the links inside the topic don’t.

I’m afraid I was not clear in asking my question.
I’m talking about the old bookmarks to “old” posts, such as, for example:

“https: //forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=325690.msg1714542#msg1714542
(I added a space after “https:” to prevent the link to be shown here as " Avast Community”)

I need to understand how to edit such a link, thus updating the bookmark with the new URLs as suggested in the FAQ, in order to have it lead to the same thread/post to which it used to lead before the site revamping.
