i was installing mobiledit when avast detected mobiledit.exe as a trojan so i deleted it. then i downloaded mobiledit from its official wesite and installed it .but i could not find any exe file in the c/programfiles/mobiledit folder. i tried many mobiledit setup files but after installation it does not find the exe file . neither does it show in add or remove . i want to install mobiledit someone please help////
Do you mean every time you try to install, Avast detects and blocks mobiledit.exe, preventing installation
no it does not detect exe but i dont find it in the proram directory , nor anywhere else
Well is has to be there ;D Why do you want to find it anyway ? You have probably downloaded a dodgy file, first time,which Avast caught.Now you have installed legit file

how do i run the program without the file , i dont find it any where not on desktop not in all programs no where . even after installation when it says do you want to start mobiledit i say yes but still nothing happens. i hope now i am clear?
During installation it should ask you if you want a desktop icon,tick yes. Or open it from the start menu,and create an icon. You have gone astray somewhat.You are not expected to go searching for an exe file.

i know the installation process , i also tickto create a shrtcut icon while installation, but after installation there is no icon in the start up menu and i have been using the sw from 3 years i know how to use it . from where will i create a shortcut when there is no mobiledit in start up .

Its in my start menu, I have a desktop icon, i have an exe in program files
I suggest removing this program using Revo uninstaller ( Only remove the bold entries )

Download again, and try again. You could try installing in safe mode
I have uninstalled using Revo, this program also uses the built in uninstaller from Mobiledit, which after uninstalling, left lots of crap behind,which Revo mopped up

Maybe you could add it to the exclusions
