accuracy of GPS results on map

I sent about 30 location commands over the course of a day using Galaxy note 2.

The Google street map is the default in Avast to show GPS coordinates. However, in the Avast portal, the street map is much less accurate than the satellite map (and thus useless). When I locate my position using GPS and Google Maps App on my phone, the street map is accurate.

So why is there a discrepancy between the accuracy of the Google street map in the Avast portal and that used in the Google Maps App?
I suggest you make the satellite view the default in the Anti-Theft portal.

can you send me screenshots (+ a link to this thread) to holzner @ avast.com - i want to see what you mean!

it happened to me quite often, the Avast GPS locator map showed that I was in the of a cemetery in the middle of the night which is almost 1 km from me…and I swear I don’t sleepwalk

it depends which location sources deliver some result.
I want to know what you mean by “street map is less accurate than satellite map”?
